Characterization of the dynamics of wireless channels in 28 GHz for 5th Generation mobile phones: The project consists in statistically modelling wireless channels that will be used in future transmission systems and wireless voice and wireless data systems. The research is conducted in close collaboration with Bell-Laboratories/Nokia scientists (USA). The work that begun in June 2016, entailed the construction of two identical measuring systems, one of which is being used in the Bell Labs, while the second one is being used in the measurements conducted by CCTVal researchers. The project’s ultimate goal is to advance the state of knowledge regarding the over time stability of wireless systems operating in the band 28 GHz. This is of great relevance to the telecommunication industry since the use of highly directive antennas, which can be redirected when the channel characteristics change over time, will be essential in the aforementioned frequency band.

The project seeks to develop a real time monitoring solution for wine fermentation tanks that will allow generating continuous information regarding the routine analysis of physical-chemical parameters in winemaking tanks in order to take corrective actions in a timely manner. To do this, the company needs to outsource research in FTIR technology (Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy), in order to measure the parameters in winemaking tanks, as well as outsourcing the study of suitable materials to submerge cameras in the aforementioned tanks and the development of algorithms capable of validating the critical technological and scientific hypothesis proposed by the solution.

Implement a system capable of activating Vending Machines with the use of an application compatible with any mobile device available in the market. This system would be capable of activating washing/drying machines from the SPINOK Company with a prepayment realized through the PAYGROUP system.

Smart Lighting is a project being developed together with the EVOLUX LAB Company. This project has as objective the implementation of communication technology in led lights (Industry or light posts), to create a lighting monitoring and control system based on a cloud development platform. The technology being used in the project is IQRF, which is a low power, low speed and low data volume of wireless connectivity, covering dozens and hundreds of kilometers (kilometers varies per case and networks). Use cases: Telemetry, industrial control, automation of buildings and cities (streetlights, parking lots, etc.).

The law number 20.001/2005 in Chile, regulates the maximum weight of human load, where the maximum weight to be carried by men is 50 kg. and 20 kg for women and people aged 18 and under. Therefore, this project looks for a solution to this issue with the implementation of a Flexible and Mobile Robotic Cell, which counts with the flexibility required by farming companies. The development of a mobile cell, delivers the option to use only one palletizing robot during the different seasons of the year by diverse plants and industries, as well as having a gripper that can adapt to different pallet formats.

Nowadays, Gvitz has various applications. One of them consists on activating Vending machines by making a previous payment through an incorporated reloading system. On the other hand we have a tool aimed at people who visit stores like Starbucks, Castaños, convenience stores, etc., where each store will have an iBeacon. This system consists on customer identification upon entering the store, generating a customized offer based on purchasing history.

Xompass allows collecting, storing and analyzing data in real time with the use of sensors, providing unprecedented capacity in: visualization, operational intelligence, maintenance and monitoring. Xompass also has the capacity to work in closed networks or Cloud Computing, delivering up to the moment information to the users.

It is a 100x80 [mm] microcomputer that counts with all the features and interfaces of any personal computer. It was designed based on SoC technology (System On a Chip), which allows for greater integration of its components and hence a smaller size. Its design is aimed at the development of mobile networks through a software specifically created with this purpose. Design, manufacture and commercialize a small low cost microcomputer “card” (Orangeboard), for Latin American developers and companies with the purpose of building applications or equipment for mass markets.
