The Dongfang Company, an eastern company dedicated to instrumentation development, software development and system integration, visited the Scientific and Technological Center of Valparaiso with the aim of exploring the possibility of future collaborations.
USM Masters students make progress in major collaboration
Sebastian Tapia and Jorge Lopez, both PhD in Sciences with a mention in Physics candidates at the USM, contributed with the data collection upgrades in the Large Hadron Collider’s ATLAS detector. With this collaboration, in addition to the previous construction of detectors, the University becomes the only one in the country to have the entire chain of scientific production.
