CCTVal’s young engineers take Essential and Advanced Training courses on Altium

A group made up of ten young engineers, who work on different projects at the Scientific and Technological Center of Valparaiso (CCTVal for its Spanish acronym), had the opportunity to take part on Altium training courses, a software used as the main tool by electronics specialists and world leading companies.

As part of the international collaboration between the European Organization for Nuclear Research, CERN, and the Scientific and Technological Center of Valparaiso, CCTVal, the construction of the parts prototypes for the ATLAS experiment was started. Known as the biggest in human history, the Large Hadron Collider is a large scale project – a 27 Kilometer, ring shaped particle accelerator located inside an underground tunnel, close to the French-Swiss border – which pretends to give answers to questions about the beginning of the Universe and its make-up.
